Alternative for mailto - IE character limit issue other solutions

Are there any solutions about IE character limit? I've tried many possible solutions I found in the internet including this.

mailto fails in IE where there is a long body text. Is there any way to resolve this?

I'm running out of options. My client wants a function where once the button clicked, it'll open the user's email client application and put the required email add, subject and 1,000 characters body message.

Firefox, Chrome and other browsers are alright but my client really prioritize Internet Explorer browser. Today's my 2nd day working on this issue. T_T
